Guttorn Otto (1919- 2012) was born in Poland. In 1948, he was elected to the Society of Creative Artists, West Germany’s leading art society. Otto immigrated to Canada in 1952, settling in Toronto. He traveled extensively across the country, drawing inspiration from the outdoors and diverse landscapes.
